"Kenojuak Ashevak is a Canadian Inuit artist from Cape Dorset who pioneered modern Inuit art. She’s designed a Canadian stamp in the 1970’s and is considered to be one of the most notable indigenous artists in the world.
She was born in an igloo back in 1927, she’s supposedly one of the first Inuit women to have started to paint back in the 1950’s and her designs helped develop the print making tradition of the area."
